Single Window Operator / Teller

How the IBPS Clerk is structured
IBPS Clerk has two phases. Prelims is a 60-minute, 100-mark screening CBT. Mains is a 2-hour 40-minute, 200-mark objective test. No interview - final selection is based only on Mains score.

How to crack the IBPS Clerk
Prelims sectional cut-offs are the first barrier
IBPS Clerk Prelims has sectional minimum scores. English (7-8+), Reasoning (9-11+), Quant (8-10+) are typical General category cut-offs. Practice sectional timed tests from week 1.
Mains is harder than Prelims - don't underestimate it
Many candidates clear Prelims but fail Mains due to insufficient Financial Awareness prep. Start Mains Banking GK preparation from the start, not after Prelims.
Language proficiency: local language matters
IBPS Clerk requires working knowledge of the state's official language for the posting state. Ensure you're comfortable reading/writing in the local language.
No interview - Mains score is everything
Unlike IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk has no interview. Your Mains score directly determines your rank and bank allotment. Every mark matters - aim for 95+ out of 200.
