How the IIBF AML/KYC is structured
The AML/KYC certificate is a single online exam of 120 MCQs for 100 marks in 2 hours, in English, conducted online with remote proctoring. There is no negative marking and the pass mark is 60/100. The paper spans an Anti-Money Laundering part and a Know Your Customer part.

Check eligibility
Confirm you meet the criteria (member or non-member, 12th pass or BC/BF qualified). Bank employment is not required.
Register online during the window
Apply through the IIBF portal for a chosen exam date and pay the fee (₹1,100 members / ₹1,600 non-members plus GST; non-refundable).
Study the courseware
Prepare using IIBF's 'Anti-Money Laundering & Know Your Customer' textbook, e-learning modules and mock tests.
Take the online proctored exam
Attempt the 120-MCQ, 2-hour online remote-proctored paper in English on your booked date.
Clear with the passing mark
Score at least 60/100 to pass; there is no negative marking. Re-register for a later date if a re-attempt is needed.
Receive the certificate
On qualifying, IIBF issues the AML/KYC certificate, adding a recognised compliance credential to your profile.
