Exam Pattern
RBI Assistant has two online phases plus a qualifying language test. Prelims is a 100-question, 100-mark, 60-minute screening test with 20-minute sectional timing (qualifying only). Mains is a 200-question, 200-mark test across five sections with sectional timing (135 minutes total). Candidates who clear both must pass a qualifying Language Proficiency Test (LPT) in the local language of the recruiting office. Both objective papers carry 0.25 negative marking per wrong answer; final merit is based on Mains marks.
