The Certificate Examination in International Trade Finance is conducted by IIBF for trade finance practitioners in banks and corporates. It tests the ICC rules banks work under (UCP 600, ISBP 745, URC, URDG, URR, ISP 98), Incoterms 2020, pre- and post-shipment export credit, import finance, buyers' and suppliers' credit, Foreign Trade Policy and exchange control, and the risks of trade, from maritime fraud to trade-based money laundering and sanctions.

Exam Pattern
The certificate is a single online, remote-proctored exam of 120 MCQs for 100 marks in 2 hours, taken on a desktop or laptop from a place of your choice. There is no negative marking and the pass mark is 60/100. The exam is in English only. Each attempt is a separate registration with its own fee, and you choose your exam date and slot when you register; it cannot be changed afterwards.
