IIBF Credit Officer (CCP) Exam Pattern
Two stages, not one: an online paper, then classroom training. Here is how each is scored.
The IIBF Certified Credit Professional (CCP) is a blended certification with two stages. Stage one is an online remote-proctored exam: 100 MCQs, including situation and problem-based questions, for 100 marks in 2 hours, in English, with no negative marking; 50 out of 100 passes. Stage two, open only to those who clear stage one, is 3 days of classroom training assessed out of 50, with 25 needed to be certified.
This page covers the mechanics of both stages. The syllabus page covers what the paper actually tests.

How the Two-Stage Scoring Works
The two stages are sequential, not parallel. You cannot book the classroom training until the online paper is cleared, and the online score does not carry into the training assessment. Certification requires both: 50/100 in the exam and 25/50 in the training's internal assessment, which is built around case studies.
In practice this means preparation splits cleanly. Everything on this site, and everything you can drill, targets stage one; stage two is participatory and assessed during the training days themselves.
Attempts and Re-registration
- check_circleEvery attempt requires a separate registration on the IIBF portal.
- check_circleCandidates who fail the online exam can re-enrol, and an immediate second attempt costs ₹200.
- check_circleExams run on pre-announced dates, typically the 2nd and 4th Saturdays and Sundays.
- check_circleThe digital certificate is emailed within about 3 weeks of the result, after both stages are complete.

Situation-Based Questions Are the Paper's Personality
CCP deliberately includes situation and problem-based MCQs: a borrower profile, a set of ratios, a stressed account, then a judgement question. Candidates who only memorise definitions consistently find the paper harder than expected. Practise applied questions, not just recall.
