IIBF Forex Operations (CCFE) Exam Dates
Frequent sittings, a slot you pick yourself, and a result on submission. The date rhythm, and where IIBF publishes the live one.
CCFE does not run on one annual exam day. IIBF pre-announces exam dates, typically the 2nd and 4th Saturdays and Sundays, and you pick a date and time slot when you register. That means the honest answer to "when is the CCFE exam" is: soon, and repeatedly, with the live schedule published on the IIBF website.
This page explains the cadence, when registration opens relative to a sitting, how fast results and the certificate arrive, and where to confirm the current dates before you pay.

We do not publish a confirmed CCFE date here
IIBF announces the dates for each cycle on its own website, and they change from cycle to cycle. This page describes the pattern those announcements follow so you know what to expect. Always confirm the live date and slot on iibf.org.in before registering or planning your study weeks.
CCFE Date Schedule at a Glance
The three things with a timing element, as IIBF states them.
| Event | Timing |
|---|---|
| Exam periodicity | Pre-announced dates, typically 2nd and 4th Saturdays and Sundays |
| Registration window | Opens before each cycle; schedule published on the IIBF website |
| Result and certificate | Provisional scorecard on submission; digital certificate within about 3 weeks |
How Often Is the CCFE Exam Held?
Frequently, by exam standards. The dates are pre-announced and typically fall on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays and Sundays, so a sitting is usually only a few weeks away rather than a few months. The exam is online and remote-proctored, which is what makes that frequency possible: there is no test-centre allotment to wait on.
Practically, this changes how you plan. You are not fitting your preparation to one fixed national date. You choose a date you can be ready for, then work backwards from it.
When Does CCFE Registration Open?
The registration window opens before each cycle, and IIBF publishes the schedule on its website. Registration is per attempt: one registration covers one sitting, and a re-attempt needs a fresh registration at the full fee of ₹1,100 plus convenience charges and applicable taxes, which is non-refundable.
You select your exam date and time slot during that registration, so the date you sit is a choice you make at payment time, not something allotted to you afterwards. If the slot you want is on a busy weekend, registering early in the window is the only lever you have.

How to Find and Lock Your CCFE Date
- 1
Check the schedule on iibf.org.in
IIBF publishes the exam schedule and the registration window for each cycle on its own site. That page is the authoritative source for dates; nothing else is.
- 2
Confirm your bank's AD status before you pay
Eligibility rides on employment with an Authorised Dealer (AD) member bank of FEDAI. The fee is non-refundable, so settle this before the date matters.
- 3
Register and pick your slot
Pay ₹1,100 plus convenience charges and applicable taxes, then choose your exam date and time slot in the same flow.
- 4
Work backwards from the date you booked
One 100-question paper, 2 hours, 50 marks out of 100 to pass. Count the weekends between now and your slot and assign modules to them rather than reading front to back.
- 5
Sit the remote-proctored exam
The paper is online and remote-proctored, in English, with no negative marking. Test your machine and connection well before the day, not on it.
When Do CCFE Results Come Out?
Immediately, in provisional form. A provisional scorecard appears on submission, so you leave the exam knowing whether you cleared the 50 out of 100 pass mark. There is no results-day wait.
The digital certificate follows within about three weeks of the result, delivered by email. If you need the certificate for an internal role change or a posting request, that three-week gap is the number to plan around, not the result itself.
What the Date Rhythm Means for Your Plan
- check_circleA failed attempt is not a lost year. With sittings typically on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays and Sundays, the next realistic window is weeks away, though it costs a fresh full-fee registration.
- check_circleBooking a date is the commitment device. An unbooked exam drifts; a booked slot gives your study weeks an endpoint.
- check_circleYour certificate timeline is result day plus about three weeks, so book with that in mind if there is an internal deadline behind this.
- check_circleConfirm dates on the IIBF site each time. The cadence above is the usual pattern, not a promise about any particular cycle.
There is no separate training date to schedule
Unlike IIBF's blended certificates, CCFE has no classroom-training stage. The online exam is the entire certification, so the only date in your calendar is the exam slot you book.
