Sit the 160-mark objective test and clear the sectional and overall cut-offs. One-fourth negative marking applies. Phase I is qualifying only.

Write the three descriptive papers: English, Economic and Social Issues impacting Insurance, and Insurance and Management. These 300 marks carry 85% of final merit.

Shortlisted candidates are interviewed; the interview carries 15% weight in final merit.

Selection is on the combined Phase II and interview score in the 85:15 ratio, stream-wise in order of merit.
