IBBI Limited Insolvency Exam Dates 2026
There's no exam calendar to wait for. Slots open on every working day; you pick the date.
There are no fixed IBBI exam dates. The Limited Insolvency Examination runs on every working day at test centres across India, and you choose the city, centre, date and time slot yourself when you book on the NSEIT portal.
So the question is not when the next exam is, but when you are ready, and whether a slot is free at the centre you want. You can check that before paying, under the Center Details tab of the portal.

How to Pick and Book a Date
- 1
Log in to the NSEIT portal
Start from IBBI's Limited Insolvency Examination page and click "Register and Enrol Online". Register first if you are new.
- 2
Check slot availability
Look under Center Details for the dates and times open at the centres near you.
- 3
Book Seat
Choose test city, centre, date and time. Pick carefully: changing it later is not guaranteed.
- 4
Pay to confirm
Pay ₹5,900 online. The booking is not complete until the payment goes through.
- 5
Download the admit card
From the Candidate Dashboard. Print it; you need the paper copy at the centre.
Rescheduling Is Not a Right
IBBI allows a date change only once, only for a genuine reason, and only if NSEIT receives the request at least 15 days before the exam. Requests go to [email protected]. Inside the 15-day window, a missed slot means a lost fee.
Check where you stand before you pick a date.
Planning Around the 21-Day Gap
If you fail, the earliest you can sit again is 21 days later. Use that time on the areas your mark sheet shows were weak, not on rereading everything.
Plan the exam date against your career timeline too. A pass is usable for IP enrolment for 24 months, so booking years before you meet the experience rule wastes it.
