IPO (Initial Public Offering)
The first sale of a private company's shares to the public.
An Initial Public Offering is the process through which a private company offers its shares to the public for the first time and gets listed on a stock exchange. It lets the company raise capital and gives early investors an exit, while new investors gain ownership. IPOs are regulated by SEBI.
