Two III portals, two kinds of exam. Here is where your hall ticket and result actually are.
The Insurance Institute of India runs two separate exam portals, and most hall-ticket and result confusion comes from using the wrong one. Professional papers like IC-01, IC-02, IC-11 and IC-14 run on III's main website, insuranceinstituteofindia.com. IRDAI's licensing exams for insurance agents, such as IC-38, run on iiiexams.org.
For a professional paper, you download your hall ticket the moment you book your exam slot, and your result from the same login after the session. Nothing is posted to you.

How to Download Your III Hall Ticket
For IC-01 and every other professional paper.

Enrol for the paper
Enrol and pay in the session's enrolment window. Enrolment alone does not produce a hall ticket.

Book your slot
In the slot-booking window, log in to insuranceinstituteofindia.com, go to Exam Registration, and book your date, time and centre.

Download it immediately
III's FAQ says to download the hall ticket immediately after booking the slot. It can also be downloaded again later from your login.

Print it and check it
Your photo from your profile is printed on it. Check your name, paper, date, time and centre, and take the printout with a photo ID to the exam.
Hall Ticket Missing?
III does not post hall tickets. If you cannot get yours from your login, email [email protected] with a scan of your fee payment receipt and the printout of your enrolled papers; III sends the hall ticket back to the same email address. Also make sure a recent photo is uploaded in your profile, since it is printed on the hall ticket.
When the III Result Comes Out
Because the exam is online, you see your marks on screen as soon as you finish. The formal result follows once III's Board of Education approves it, normally 20 days to a month after the session's last exam day. III texts and emails you when it is declared.
In 2026 the result dates are on or before 31 March, 30 June, 30 September and 31 December, one for each session.

How to Check Your III Result

Sign in to insuranceinstituteofindia.com with the login id linked to your Registration Id.

Open View and Print Result
Your mark sheet for the session is in your login, under the exam registration options.

Save a copy
Download it straight away. III keeps the mark sheet in your login only until the next session changes over, and issues no printed mark sheet for professional exams.

Check your credit points
View Accumulated Credit Points shows the running total towards the Licentiate's 60.
After the Result
- check_circlePassed IC-01? You earn 20 credit points, valid for 5 years from the date you pass, up to Associateship level.
- check_circlePassed with 75% or more? That is a distinction in the subject.
- check_circleCompleted the Licentiate (60 credit points with the compulsory papers)? III issues the certificate within a month of the result.
- check_circleNeed a printout? Your nearest Associated Institute can print your result from your Registration Id.
- check_circleLost it later? A duplicate mark sheet or certificate costs ₹300.
- check_circleFailed? Enrol again in the next session's window; you pay only the paper fee. There is no re-totalling or revaluation.
