SSC CPO Syllabus: Every Subject in Both Papers
Four subjects in Paper I, one deep English paper after the physical test. Here is the full topic list.
The SSC CPO syllabus covers four subjects in Paper I: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. Paper II, held after the physical tests, is English Language and Comprehension alone. So English appears twice, and that repetition is the single most useful thing to know before you plan anything.
This page lists every topic under each subject. For how the papers are timed and scored, see the exam pattern page.

Weight Your Study Time Toward English
Count the marks across both papers and English is the largest single subject in SSC CPO by a wide margin: 50 questions in Paper I plus the entire 200-mark Paper II. Reading comprehension alone takes up most of Paper II. A study plan that treats English as one subject among four is planning for a different exam.
