Clear Tier 1 with speed and accuracy
100 questions in 60 minutes means 36 seconds per question. Accuracy in Reasoning and GA is critical. Target 165+ out of 200 for a safe Tier 1 cutoff.
Master Quant for Tier 2
Tier 2 Quant has 30 questions worth 90 marks. Focus on Arithmetic (50% weightage), then Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry. Practice 50 questions daily under timed conditions.
Build vocabulary and grammar for English
English in Tier 2 contributes 135 marks. Focus on Reading Comprehension (2 passages daily), Error Spotting, and Vocabulary (one-word substitution + idioms).
Stay current for General Awareness
GA in both tiers requires 6-month current affairs coverage. Read a daily news capsule. Static GK (polity, history, geography) can be covered in 3–4 weeks.
