SSC JE Syllabus: Every Discipline, Topic by Topic
Three engineering disciplines, one shared non-technical half. Here is the full topic list for each.
The SSC JE syllabus splits into a shared non-technical half and a discipline-specific technical half. Every candidate faces General Intelligence and Reasoning plus General Awareness; the technical section is then Civil, Electrical or Mechanical engineering, matching the discipline you apply under. You study one branch, not three.
The technical section is also where the marks concentrate: it carries 100 of Paper 1's 200 marks, and Paper 2 tests the same discipline again in descriptive form. The topic lists below are what that discipline section draws from.
