SSC MTS Syllabus: Every Subject, Topic by Topic
Four subjects across two 45-minute sessions. The topic list is short enough to actually finish.
The SSC MTS syllabus is the most finishable in the SSC family. Four subjects, all pitched around Class 10 level: Numeric Ability, Reasoning, General Awareness and English (or Hindi). Session 1 of the exam takes the first two; Session 2 takes the other two.
Because the topic list is short, the exam separates candidates on speed and coverage rather than depth. Knowing the full list, and noticing how little of it there is, is the first strategic advantage.

Current Affairs: Recent Months Matter Most
MTS General Awareness leans on recent events: government schemes, science news, sports results and awards from roughly the last 3 months, layered on one solid read of static GK. That is a much smaller current-affairs burden than CGL or CHSL carry.
