IIBF International Trade Finance Exam Dates 2026
Two Saturdays most months, each with a five-day registration window. Here's the 2026 calendar.
IIBF runs the International Trade Finance exam on pre-announced dates, usually two Saturdays a month. Each date has its own registration window of about five days, which closes roughly a week before the exam.
Because the exam is remote-proctored, there are no centres to choose: you pick a date and a time slot when you register, and sit the exam from your own desk.

No Dates in July or October 2026
IIBF's 2026 schedule for this exam skips July and October. After 26 September, the next date is 14 November 2026, with registration from 4 to 8 November.

How to Pick Your Exam Date

Work back from your readiness, not the calendar
With a 60/100 pass mark and a pass rate of about one in four, book once your mock scores are comfortably above 60.

Note the five-day window
Registration for each date opens and closes within about five days. Missing it means waiting for the next date.

Book a slot you can keep
Slots are first come, first served, and IIBF does not allow any change of date or slot once booked.

Test your system before exam day
IIBF is not responsible for computer failures during the exam; a failure costs you the attempt.
After the Exam
- check_circleA provisional scorecard appears on screen as soon as you submit.
- check_circleIIBF hosts the result advice on its website after declaring results, for you to download.
- check_circleIf you pass, IIBF emails a digitally signed certificate within 3 weeks of the result.

How often is the IIBF trade finance exam held?expand_more
On pre-announced dates, usually the 2nd and 4th Saturday of a month. In 2026 IIBF scheduled ten dates from May to December, with none in July or October.

No. IIBF does not allow any change of exam date or time slot once booked.
