IIBF DRA Syllabus: The 4 Modules of the Debt Recovery Agent Exam
One paper, four modules, from bank basics to SARFAESI and soft skills. Here's every topic IIBF lists.
The IIBF DRA exam syllabus has four modules, and every one of them feeds the same single paper. IIBF's Rules & Syllabus document lists them as Basics of Banking, Products and Legal Aspects of Recovery, Role in Loan Recovery and Soft Skills, and an additional reading module on NBFCs.
This is the syllabus for both field recovery agents and recovery telecallers. IIBF used to run a separate DRA Telecaller exam, but discontinued it from 1 April 2024, so there is now one DRA syllabus for everyone.

IIBF Publishes No Module-Wise Weightage
IIBF's Rules & Syllabus document describes one 100-question paper and gives no split of questions between the four modules. If you see a module-wise marks table elsewhere, treat it as that site's estimate, not an IIBF rule.
Questions Can Go Beyond the Listed Topics
IIBF calls this syllabus indicative. Its rules say questions may be asked on current developments in banking and finance, and on RBI guidelines issued up to a cut-off date: 31 December for exams held March to August, and 30 June for exams held September to February.

The mandatory training is built around it. IIBF's rules split the training between functional topics (law and banking operations, especially collection) and soft skills, which map to these modules.
